Recently Jay Z was a guest on The Oprah Show

Oprah and Jay Z have a new found friendship; and decided to spend a lil on camera time getting to know one another. there are four segments of their chats and this is one of them.

The two new friends chatted about many things, in this segment they discuss the Chris Brown and Rhianna Domestic Violence Incident and Jay Z teaches Oprah to Rap. It's Truly Magical.

Jay Z Gives Oprah the Rap Lesson

In This Segment,Oprah starts by asking Jay Z about his feelings and his involvement in the Rihanna and Chris Brown Domestic Violence incident. Jay makes it clear that he talked and listened. he didn't interfere and that he never threatened Chris Brown as was reported; by alot of the media immediately after they were sighted in Miami; right after the incident occurred.

Somehow I think he probably put a couple more security men on Rihanna, since she is His Artist, to make sure that what ever happened He and She wouldn't end up in court again. Jay Z seems like a concerned big brother who is there and willing. Oprah gives him Kudos for being a cool head and helping hand in the face of so much negative press.

Next Oprah asks Jay Z about his feelings about his use of the "N" Word; Openly in His Music, and Conversation. He is very honest with her on why he feels his generation has reclaimed and recycled the word from an insult, as it was in her day; to just another social moniker of today's lexicon.

Oprah tells Jay that they can agree to disagree because when she hears the word Nigger, she sees all the faces of the men who were lynched; and that was the last word they heard. she says that Jay Z and his generation should remember that her generation has the burden of the civil rights struggle as a backdrop for the "N" word. Jay Z says that he recognizes that and feels she has every right to feel that way. It was truly an amazing moment, in both tv, rap and American civil rights.

Remarkably like the friends they appear to be now, they agree to disagree. it's quite refreshing indeed. they move on to Jay Z giving Oprah a Rap Lesson.

Oprah asks Jay Z if he can teach her to rap, since Beyonce taught her the famous Beyonce dance moves. They get a laugh out of watching the video together and she says cutely, "That's The Best I'll Probably Ever Do".

They stand up and Jay Z explains that the rhyme begins with Oprah and where she came from and Jay Z and where he came from. Jay begins to freestyle about the two of them as Oprah rocks to the beat of the audience, who are now rocking the beat with "Go Oprah, Go Oprah".

it's a magical moment that only Jay Z could get out of Our Oprah

This is one of the best Oprah segments I've ever seen where she is exposed outside of her normal in control box. she does the interview as though she is talking to a friend. the joy in her face is quite evident as Jay Z beams right back.

I'm glad Oprah has decided that in general Rappers are not different, but just Artists, and should be respected for their talent and not just the crowd they pull or their money. she previously made it clear that she wouldn't have rappers on, and it broke many of her biggest fans hearts.

we all expected her to have Ludacris - Chris Bridges on her couch, after his success in movies and television eclipsed his rap career. as well we looked forward to seeing her chat on the couch with more than P Diddy. why not talk to Macy Gray since she was on DWTS Recently; and has quite a stage and acting resume'. Why not have Mary J Blige who she claims is one of her new best friends and Alicia Keys on for a woman's show and talk to the younger rappers and performers ? she claims she wants to mentor and build entertainment's ranks with young blood. so why not start with some this season Oprah ?

Yes she's had Jennifer Hudson on, because she won American Idol - but what about Jasmine Sullivan or Chrisette Michelle ? they are both great singers who can and should be showcased; on Oprah, if she is going to appeal to a younger generation of new viewers.

Oprah you've come a long way baby, but you've still got a lil ways to go girlfriend

Oh help me please! Seeing Oprah even attempting rap and beat makes me wonder if her thyroid isn't all screwy again. I'm sure Steadman wonders why he isn't with Beyonce or Rhianna instead of the big "O", but then reality hits-money, money, money, money!!!
